...but the dances, the costumes, the magic and the hype– alongside a fresh bottle of champagne – make this night a very special memory for you and your coworkers when in Paris!
Moulin Rouge represents the birthday of the cancan and the cabaret. Obviously, men love the fact that the female erotic dancers in this show are mostly, topless. What’s more, the Moulin exciting puts on a fantastic show, especially with its elaborate costumes, special effects and even some show of comedy.!
Firstly, you’ll need to get your ticket, and they aren’t any cheap. Head over to the Moulin Rouge website before your trip to Paris and pray that there are still available spots for your choice of dates. Please note that only a few types of tickets are available for purchase, they include (show, champagne, dinner, and DVD, including souvenirs and service). The price of the cheapest ticket starts from around $80 and ranges from a VIP ticket which can cover up to over 200$ per head. With three shows per night (though the price varies), get ready to pay up to 110$ on the average per one ticket (you might love to have some champagne while you enjoy the show).
The show in Moulin Rouge runs just like a well-oiled machine. After all, there are only three shows per night, so staffs don’t find it any hard getting you in and out of your seat. The show runs for about 90 minutes, and photographs are not allowed inside. Though we’ve heard rumors about how cameras are highly prohibited, of course, we sometimes manage to get them in( our apologies, though!)!
Honestly watching this amazing show is an unbelievable experience. Sure, the majority of crowds are 99% tourist, and the songs are lip-synced to playback music- but the fame and hype around the Moulin Rouge make seeing it live, a thrilling experience and oh! The fact that the beautiful erotic dancers are topless doubles up the exciting experience.!
At a point, the short story line is depicted, from a history of Paris to a far-east romance. And oh, we shouldn’t forget about the popular “can can,” which is, in fact, the climax of the show. What’s more, the show is a pretty high tech with the stage taking on a brand exciting look every few minutes, with props moving in from the top, from the sides and even from the bottom.!
Apart from the dance numbers, Moulin rogue showcases some funny comedy act involving the crowd and a mouth-watering acrobatic act performed by a duo that sounds like they just came straight out of the Russian Olympic gymnastics team. Honestly, this acrobatic display was one of the show’s highlights, and in fact, it never involved any topless dancers!
To say it all!
Honestly, Seeing the Moulin Rouge is a definite highlight and something one must do in Paris. Sure it could be super expensive and in lots of ways like a Las Vegas show, but the dances, the costumes, the magic and the hype– alongside a fresh bottle of champagne – make this night a very special memory for you and your coworkers when in Paris!
